BRADLEY A. BORNE, D.C. | DIRECTOR OF SPORTS MEDICINE & WELLNESS

As Director of Wellness, Bradley Borne, D.C., is at the hub of all performance, training, and healing services at Golf & Body NYC. Focusing on the needs of members, Borne brings together the many available health disciplines and is charged with evaluating and adding new methods and techniques. Among those already offered are yoga, massage, different kinds of physical therapy, and chiropractic, all given in concert with the member’s golf instruction program. Other specialties being reviewed include nutrition and sports psychology, as well as a variety of technologies designed to make it easier for the member to keep on top of and in tune with his or her appointments, treatments, and lessons.

Bradley received his chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He specializes in soft tissue techniques, rehabilitation, and corrective exercises. He is certified in Golf Performance through Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) and has worked with one of the top golf performance specialists in the world. Dr. Borne is certified in FMS, SFMA, and Graston Technique. He is also Neurac certified through the Neurac Institute.

Before joining Golf & Body NYC, Dr. Borne was working in golf performance and sports medicine at The Roaring Fork Club and Aspen Sports Medicine in Aspen, Colorado.

MATT ATKINS | DIRECTOR OF FITNESS

After graduation from Coastal Carolina University in 2009, Matt began his golf career by working at notable clubs including PGA West (La Quinta, Calif.) and Westchester Country Club (Rye, N.Y.) In 2011, he took a job in sales and marketing for K-VEST, a motion-capture company. During that time, he also traveled with TPI (Titleist Performance Institute), helping to educate golf professionals and others at the cutting edge of performance, and began more closely studying human motion as it relates to the swing.

Working with different professionals in golf, fitness, and medicine led Matt to a specialization in team golf performance. After working at Elite Health Services in Greenwich, Conn., he came to GBNYC in 2014.

KIRK ADAMS | HEAD PERFORMANCE COACH

Adams has more than 15 years of experience working with collegiate, professional, and Olympic athletes in more than 30 men's and women’s sports. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from Penn State University, and is a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and a Youth Fitness Specialist through the International Youth Conditioning Association.

Adams also was the Head Olympic Sports Strength & Conditioning Coach at Penn State from 2005-2013, where his teams won more than 20 Big Ten Championships and four National Championships. He also was responsible for the physical development of the men’s and women’s golf teams. In 2011, Adams founded Nittany Golf Fitness in State College, Pennsylvania, where he brought Tour-quality training to recreational golfers of all ages and abilities. Adams works with a number of professional golfers on the Web.com and eGolf Tours.

GINA DaDAN | PERFORMANCE COACH 

Gina DaDan comes to Golf & Body NYC from the New York Athletic Club where she also works as a Golf Fitness Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor.

Gina holds coaching certifications from Mike Boyle in Functional Strength, TPI Level 3 Fitness, Junior Coach Level 2 and Golf Professional Level 2.  Other certifications include FMS, TRX, Band Pilates, and Spinning.

When she isn’t working with golfers, Gina enjoys playing tennis and works as a line umpire at professional tennis tournaments.

ARIANE HUNDT | CLINICAL NUTRITIONIST

Ariane is a New York City-based Clinical Nutritionist and Personal Trainer. She has a refreshingly interactive and comprehensive approach to helping her clients achieve the physical self they desire.

Ariane is a media dynamo, featured in over 150 media outlets, including the New York Times, NBC, ABC, German TV and magazines for her creation, the Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp and for her nutrition expertise.

Ariane's fitness philosophy is simple: A fit and lean body is the result of a healthy lifestyle that consists of balanced nutrition, effective exercise, and a positive sense of self. Rather than promoting temporary dieting, Ariane believes in incorporating simple, yet effective lifestyle changes that bring about dramatic results. She specializes in fat loss, health conditioning and draws from a diverse background in fitness, nutrition, preventative care, hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

CHARLEENE O’CONNOR | MUSCLE MECHANICS SPECIALIST

Charleene, who has a BS in Exercise Physiology from Boston University, also has been certified as a MAT Muscle Activation Techniques Specialist, Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 3 Golf Fitness Trainer, CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 2, Egoscue Affiliate Postural Alignment Specialist, and Poliquin BioSignature Level 2. She started her career at Reebok Sports Club NY, helped open The Sports Club LA Rockefeller Center, and worked at several start-up fitness facilities—including Clay, Citibabes, Los Angeles Country Club, and Nimble—where she created and implemented specific programs for MAT, postural alignment work, and golf training.

BEE BOSNAK | YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Bee Bosnak  is the creator of Heal Yourself, a comprehensive yoga system designed to explore the strength, structure, and biomechanics of the physical body as well as enhance the capacity of the emotional body, thus merging the practice to a mind/body/spirit connection.

A student of many forms of yoga, Bee’s teachings focus on alignment, emotional balance, and the art of letting go. Her guidance helps practitioners combine hope, awareness, self-reflection, and strength to create the best version of themselves both on and beyond the mat.

A transplanted Londoner now living in New York, Bee has been featured in many publications.

MICHAEL OKECH | FASCIAL STRETCH THERAPIST

Michael joins Golf & Body NYC as a Level II Certified Fascial Stretch Therapist. Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a table-based, assisted stretching system that improves flexibility, mobility, strength, and general tissue health and resilience. He hopes to integrate FST into the training and health services at Golf & Body NYC to help improve members’ performance, Function, and overall movement integrity.

Michael, who is also FMS Level I Certified and an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, is a passionate rugby player.  He plays with the Old Blue New York Rugby Club in the American Rugby Premiership.
