This ladies seminar brings together both members and non-members for a 4-part seminar once a month focusing on mental coaching, yoga, and meditation. Stress and pressure are inevitable in sport, work, and life. In the October session, it began by getting our minds and bodies balanced with some yoga/stretching and meditation. The focus then was on the impact of stress/pressure on performance and group collaboration to profile our tendencies and apply strategies for RESPONDING instead of REACTING. In the November session, the group dives deeper into exploring our thoughts and that voice in our heads when we focus on the role of self-talk in performance. In December, the topic of the month will be goals, just in time for New Year's resolutions and trying to set yourself up for success in the new year!
