All of us that enjoy swinging the club are often prone to injury, whether from back pain, elbow tendonitis, repetitive use and more. Many of us are also looking for easy-to-use tools and techniques that can help give us an edge on our game. A sound mobility, recovery and injury prevention plan can help protect against these injuries and offer you the advantage you are seeking to remain on the green longer and driving the ball farther! Nick Mueller, Director of RAD Golf Education, TPI Level 3 strength and conditioning coach and fascial stretch therapist will be leading our RAD Golf education course for trainers, coaches, golf pros and anyone and everyone else looking to educate themselves on how to improve their game with easy-to-integrate mobility and recovery methods. RSVP at radroller.com.

This ladies seminar brings together both members and non-members for a 4-part seminar once a month focusing on mental coaching, yoga, and meditation. Stress and pressure are inevitable in sport, work, and life. In the October session, it began by getting our minds and bodies balanced with some yoga/stretching and meditation. The focus then was on the impact of stress/pressure on performance and group collaboration to profile our tendencies and apply strategies for RESPONDING instead of REACTING. In the November session, the group dives deeper into exploring our thoughts and that voice in our heads when we focus on the role of self-talk in performance. In December, the topic of the month will be goals, just in time for New Year's resolutions and trying to set yourself up for success in the new year!

Karen Iorio Adelson of "The Strategist" writes, "Two golf dads I spoke with were excited about the high-tech Arccos system for tracking their performance. Joe Ostrowski, director of golf at the Golf & Body NYC club and father of a 9-month-old, said that the 14 sensors that attach to club heads paired with the accompanying app “collect information in the round such as greens in regulation and how far your shots go. Using all the information it gathers [and utilizing] artificial intelligence, it will help improve your course management.”
