unnamed (2).jpg

Following an initial interview process, the fitter will measure a golfer’s current equipment performance with the use of a Foresight GC Quad launch monitor.

The next step is to experiment with different shafts and club heads based on launch monitor data and swing characteristics. With more than 50,000 combinations at their disposal representing almost every major manufacturer, the goal is to attain the proper combination for each person’s game. The selection is based strictly on performance, as Pete’s Golf offers a brand agnostic service.

Each fitting strives to find the right combination of:

  • Club head type

  • Proper loft and lie angle

  • Shaft profile (weight, flex, bend)

  • Grip size

If a combination of equipment is found to perform better, the next step is to build the clubs. Each component is built by Pete Golf’s master club fitter, whose exacting quality standards are unparalleled. Simply put, Pete’s passion is giving you the best golf game.

Club fitting appointments are available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 7pm.

Offered throughout the year in a variety of classes and clinics timed to school and vacation schedules, our Junior Golf & Fitness Academy is a structured, age- and skill-appropriate training program that builds a solid foundation for golf and overall well-being whether your junior is just starting the game or preparing for competitive golf at any level.
From private instruction and training to group clinics, GBNYC offers options for golfers as young as 5 years old and up to, and through, college.

As part of its offerings to junior golfers, GBNYC offers a Junior Golf & Fitness Academy, which is a structured, individualized, golf-specific training program to build a solid foundation for collegiate or competitive golf.

Weekly sessions focus on all aspects of the student’s game and physical abilities. Clinics maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio of 4×1. Each studentűs program is individualized to meet his/her particular game improvement and physical needs. The program is then administered in a fun and supportive environment. Juniors will improve in all areas of their games and also gain mobility, stability, strength, and power.

Golf & Body NYC offers entertainment options to turn the “19th hole” into a sophisticated bar, dining, or event space that will give you and your guests an experience like no other. Our sleek, high-end facility has a choice of areas that can be conjured in numerous ways to serve your guests. While golf may be part of the program, it’s not a requirement. The venue sets up beautifully for a variety of functions and has very successfully hosted networking events, product launches, fashion shows, board meetings, and team-building retreats.

Don't just take our word for it. Golf & Body NYC has collaborated with a vast number of clients hosting events ranging from small parties of 10 guests all the way to gatherings of up to 200. Here is what a few of our past event partners have to say about hosting at GBNYC.

"Golf & Body NYC was the perfect location for our guests to join us after work for a fun and unique evening event in the city. The staff were exceptionally accommodating of all our needs and very personable. We enjoyed all aspects of the event from setting up with the great Golf & Body NYC crew to watching our guests compete in competitions on the simulators. We would love to host another event at golf & Body NYC again in the future!"

"I would like to share with you my thoughts about the event we produced at Golf and Body last year for the Waldorf Astoria Golf Experience Launch. As you are aware working with a high-end client such as the Waldorf and tailoring an event experience to emulate their brand is not an easy task. It takes meticulous planning, flexibility and great partners to do this. Albeit the Golf and Body is a private club, you understood our need to customize the experience from the branding in the private entrance, the elevators, the custom landscape on the windows and the main event areas and furnishings. Without your flexibility and that of your management team this event would not have been the success that it was. The client was overwhelmed with the details and their guests truly appreciated each part of the event. Especially the bagpiper – Great HIT! A detail that really stands out in my mind is when the vendor that was contracted for a putting challenge got into an accident on the way to the event, your team stepped in to make sure we could still execute on that part of the program. A true game saver!! Your service with the food and beverage was also incredibly appreciated. Thanks for being a great partner. We would not hesitate in doing another event here. Feel free to reach out anytime for a reference."

"Golf & Body is a perfect 10.  Our client event was a smashing success.  The facility is impressive to say the least.  Our clients couldn't get over the top of the line golf technology, which was enjoyed by golfers and non-golfers alike.  The staff is extremely professional, friendly and efficient. They made my job so easy. Not only was the food delicious, but it was presented so beautifully.  I can't wait to book my next event at Golf & Body!"
