FITNESS & WELLNESS
Personalized training programs are developed and maintained with the latest equipment. Golf & Body NYC's fully equipped fitness center features top-of-the-line apparatus for golf-specific and personal training, as well as for individual and semi-private yoga instruction. Customized programs and a total-body approach to conditioning allow for applications to other sports and fitness needs.
Golf & Body NYC also offers sports-medicine and wellness services to supplement golf instruction and fitness training. One-on-one services—ranging from chiropractic and manual therapy to massage and pre- and post-workout bodywork—are performed in a specially designed area of semi-private treatment rooms outfitted with the most advanced diagnostic and rehabilitative systems and tools.
TRAINING & CONDITIONING
The fitness program is designed to help you play better golf and reach personal health and fitness goals. Our process begins by understanding your health history, goals and expectations. GBNYC uses a fitness assessment to design an individualized workout program and provide our golf professionals information about your motor movement. We periodically update your program, respond to your feedback, and check to ensure you are staying on track. Through exercise, nutrition, and recovery, we want you to lead a healthy, active lifestyle—on and off the course.
SPORTS MEDICINE + WELLNESS
Along with elite golf training and performance, Golf & Body NYC offers sports medicine and wellness services. Our therapists work closely with the golf and fitness professionals in a multidisciplinary approach to our members' overall wellbeing. Constant communication between the three areas is fundamental in preventing injuries and keeping our members functioning at a high level. Our team approach and thorough assessment process truly allows us to prevent or minimize injuries and maximize performance during fitness and golf training sessions. Therapists are certified through Titleist Performance Center, Neurac Institute, Graston Technique, Active Release Technique, Functional Movement Systems, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, and Muscle Activation Technique.
